Piecing together various portions of testimony during the Democrats' impeachment fiasco, it becomes crystal clear that Donald Trump isn't the only one who was concerned with Burisma and the Bidens.
Marie Yovanovitch admitted during her public hearing, after brilliant questioning by Rep. Elise Stefanik, and later Rep. Jon Ratcliffe, that during her preparation for Senate confirmation hearings, she was given model Q&A to simulate the questions she might be asked during her confirmation. One of the questions related to how to respond if she was asked about Hunter Biden's work for Ukrainian gas company, Burisma.
Yovanovitch later told Ratcliffe that the answer she was told to give, was "I'd refer you to the office of the vice president on that."
In other words, no legitimate questions could be answered during her confirmation, she'd be confirmed without the lens of scrutiny ever being placed on Burisma and the Bidens.
Additionally, Diplomat to Ukraine, George Kent, who has testified both in public and in private, testified during his private hearing on October 15 that he too had concerns about Burisma.
After learning USAID was planning on co-sponsoring a clean energy essay contest with Burisma, he raised concerns that due to Burisma's poor reputation, he didn't believe the United States should be co-sponsoring an event with them.
So I guess what we're all wondering is... If the Obama State Department was prepping ambassadors on how to dodge questions about the Biden/Burisma relationship, and Obama diplomats were raising concerns that Burisma was too corrupt to do business with, why was the Biden/Burisma relationship allowed to continue?
And more importantly, why are we framing literally the same questions asked by this administration as "investigating political opponents" and trying to impeach the president over it?
Might I raise the possibility that they're afraid President Trump may start digging around and uncover a massive Obama/Biden/State Department/Ukraine scandal and so there's now a race to create an alternate narrative before it's exposed?
