They're doing it again. Talking about taking your guns. They're not even being clever about it either. "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15." Would their gun buyback even work though? I had to laugh as I typed that... how do you even buy back something you never owned. Anyways. From Australia to New Zealand, to the 96 assault weapon ban, the evidence is overwhelming that these initiatives are futile. Who would have thought criminals didn't care about the law? Who would have imagined law-abiding citizens might recognize this as a lurch toward tyranny and resist? Beto is fooling himself if he thinks the law enforcement agencies those of his ilk routinely belittle and demonize will comply with a gun confiscation initiative. Anything to break past that 3% mark though, right Robert Francis?

ADD BETO TO THE LIST OF DEMOCRATS WITH ZERO PRINCIPLES

For those keeping score at home. When conservatives express concern that the left wants to take up the guns, they're ridiculed as frantic conspiracy theorists. Then you have people like Beto saying things like this that confirm the fears. How does it relate to elections? In 2018, Beto was running against Ted Cruz in a Texas Senate race. Beto was pretending to be a moderate to grab more of the independent vote. Fast forward to 2019, where Beto is polling at 3% in a presidential primary against 10 other democrats, and Beto has changed his strategy up a bit- "How far left can I go?" A tired game with tired rhetoric.
