It seems as though even her campaign staffers are growing tired of 2020 Democrat hopeful Kamala Harris at this point.
Politico reports that a group of staffers have tendered their resignations from the Harris campaign, bringing renewed scrutiny to previously reported dysfunction.
Some point their finger at campaign manager Juan Rodriguez, while others blame Kamala's sister, Maya, who serves as the campaign chairwoman.
Kelly Mehlenbacher, has left the campaign to join the Bloomberg campaign, which is ... yikes.
In her resignation letter, which the New York Times got their hands on, Mehlenbacher said,
“This is my third presidential campaign and I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorly."
A month ago, one campaign official said the campaign had "no discipline, no plan, no strategy."
Any casual observer could have gathered as much, as Harris has seemed to lack any real principle on which her campaign could stand, and has flip flopped multiple times on several key issues like healthcare.
It's hard to believe there were actually people who could listen to her talk with that all-too-familiar phoniness that only a politician could exude, and consider her a serious contender for the White House. Voters see through that, though, and apparently her staff does too.
